proud winner of the 2006 Texas Recreation and Parks Society Class IV
Gold Medal Award for Excellence in Parks and Recreation Management.
The Gold Medal Award honors one municipal parks and recreation
organization in the state, within designated population categories,
that demonstrates excellence in long-range planning, resource
management, program development, maintenance initiatives,
professional development, and community offerings.

MLB Pitch, Hit & Run Competition
Winners
Several local youth will advance to the MLB Pitch, Hit & Run Sectional
Competition to be held Saturday, May 17 in Mansfield. As many as 65
participants compete in Keller's preliminary competition on April 26.
Pitch, Hit & Run is a baseball skills competition that allows children
to showcase their talents in pitching, hitting and running with scores
determined by individual performances in each skills event.
