Volunteer of the Year for 2006
Jose Muniz, III • totaling over 51 hours
A senior at Central High School, Jose volunteers in order to gain
hours that will help qualify him for scholarships. He learned at an
early age that it was important to volunteer having worked with the
March of Dimes and Adult Literacy Council. Jose loves to spend time
with the Fort Worth Youth Advisory Board promoting youth activities,
making recommendations for new programs, and playing baseball for
the Central High Chargers. He also plays with the Latin Amateur
Baseball Association and has worked with the Cowtown Brush Up for
the past nine years.
Someday, Jose would like to become an attorney and has set a goal
for attending Baylor University to continue his education. |
